[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]If your company has sent you to work in Singapore, you may be eligible for a work permit, including a Singapore Employment Pass (EP). Here’s everything you need to know about EP applications.

What is an employment pass?

An Employment Pass (EP) is a Singapore work visa issued by the Ministry of Manpower to foreign professional employees, managers and owners or directors of Singapore companies. This work visa allows you to live and work in Singapore and travel in and out of the country without applying for an entry visa.

The employment permit is usually valid for 1-2 years and can be renewed afterwards. Having an EP also qualifies you to apply for Singapore Permanent Resident Status (PR) in the future.

How do I get an Employment Pass?

To qualify for a Singapore Employment Pass, you need:

  • Have a job offer in Singapore.
  • Engage in management, executive or professional work.
  • A fixed monthly salary of at least $ 3,600 (older, more experienced candidates need a higher salary).
  • Have an acceptable qualification, usually a good college degree, professional qualification or professional skills.

Please note that these are general guidelines-authorities will review all employment pass applications before approving them. There is no limit to the number of EPs granted to employees in Singapore companies.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
